The Women of the Moose Lodge 1207 in West Pittston, recently presented the Greater Pittston Ambulance with Tommy Moose toys to be distributed to community children in an effort to comfort them in a crisis situation.

"Why belong to this organization?”

Think back to when you first joined, attended your enrollment and accepted the honor of becoming a Brother in this Fraternity. As part of the ceremony, you prayed to the Almighty Father to help us accept – and continue – the oath of Moose allegiance and to hold us together in His arms as we commit our lives to fraternity, fellowship, and service.

The dictionary defines these commitments as:

fra•ter•ni•ty n. A body of people associated for a common purpose or interest

fel•low•ship n. The companionship of individuals in a congenial atmosphere

ser•vice n. An act or a variety of work done for others

Remember when you were a child--when you watched the clouds floating across the sky? The shapes were limited only by your imagination. As an adult, the child in you can still remind you of the greater possibilities available. Through imagination--where the impossible becomes possible, and ideas take the next step toward becoming reality. If we all commit to fraternity, fellowship, and service we can make our community a better place to live.
